Kristen Petrov (honours)

 

Kristen recently completed a Bachelor of Natural Science (Animal Science). For the past year Kristen has worked with Dr Ricky Spencer and the North Central Catchment Management Authority in determining the nesting ecology of Broad-shelled turtles in the Murray River Victoria while also assisting in the evaluation of fox control strategies in the management of turtle populations. Kristen is now continuing onto honours and will be investigating the ecological function of freshwater turtles in the Murray River. Kristen has strong interests in ecology, animal behaviour and pest management and hopes to have an influence on species conservation and awareness.​
